Tiffany Lovage is a local-based illustrator and artist who started with henna art but has since gone on to express her love for botany and anatomy on canvases such as skin and leather. When she is not drawing, one can find her training at the boxing gym - something she picked up in 2014.
What did you have to fight against to become a GAME CHANGER?
The biggest thing that I to fight for and yet against is myself. I had to fight against my doubts as well as insecurities. In the same vein, fight for what I want to achieve.
What is your defining moment as a GAME CHANGER?
Growing up, I was inquisitive and liked to dip my hands and feet in places more than one. I was being playful one day and explored henna as a medium and the human skin as a canvas. I was subsequently labeled the ‘Henna girl’ by people, and it was something I did not want. That led me to breakthrough from the boundaries that I was being perceived as to keep working through multiple mediums and canvases for visual communication through my illustration.
What will be your advice to others?
Stay true to who you are. There will be trends, there will be setbacks but the biggest fight, is and will always be yourself.
