What did you have to fight against to become a GAME CHANGER?
The biggest hurdle that I have up till today is finding a supplier and seamstress whom I'm able to trust, as I produce everything locally where the cost price and capital is higher. Hence, I have to find someone with the right chemistry to work together and that is a challenge in itself.
What is your defining moment as a GAME CHANGER?
It was when I made the decision to rent out the entire studio in 2016. Before I got the studio, I co-shared a tiny space at an office building. When the opportunity came in 2016, I took a leap of faith and rented the entire studio. Renting the studio has allowed me to push myself to launch my brand and transform it into what it is today.
What will be your advice to others?
I feel that if you are very certain and can envision what you want in future, just do it. Even if those around you are skeptical about it. You will not want to regret not trying when you look back at your decisions ten years down the road.
